There are two kind of analysis in forex :

1. Teknikal Analysis
Teknikal anlysis is an abillity to predict market movement by using indikator. example, Bollinger Band, Moving Average, Stochastic, Trend line, etc. A trader who is using this analysis doesn't nedd long time do make their transaction decision. because in each broker's platform (mt4, streamster (marketiva), mt3, or oldest, etc) has indicator menu to be selected.

2. Fundamental analysis
When you become a fundamental trader the only one that you need is NEWS, and NEWS! because fundamental analysis using news as basic to predict market movement. You can see the news and schedule in many famous finance web, like, forexfactory, fxstreet, etc. You can find it in Google.
